VERY IMPORTANT:  The copyright date on the hoof of a My Little Pony is not necessarily when it was made.  The copyright date on the hoof is when that pony's pose was made.  For example all ponies in the Collector's Pose are dated 1982, even though some were sold in stores in 1983, 1984, etc.

If you know what set your pony is in (like Colorswirl), but are not sure where it's located please check the Cross Reference Guide.
